Jessica Love has played a critical role in building the voluntary community in the Free State since moving from Florida in 2011. Her energy in centered on mothering her 3-year-old daughter, River, who is at the heart of all of her activism work.
She is the initiator of the
Community Market Day Project, a local marketplace event and off-the-grid business network currently growing towards a living independent agorist economy. Jessica has spent the past 2 years connecting buyers, suppliers, and service providers from hobbies to home based businesses and showcases them at these events. There liberty lovers and friendly neighbors alike gather twice monthly in Manchester and are currently in the process of expanding the operation into other agorist hot spots around the Free State.
Jessica also founded the
Porc Family Connection, a decentralized network of peaceful parents and friends that encourages the sharing of information, support, and fun through cooperation and mutual aid, such as play dates, childcare exchange, clothing hand-me-downs, homeschooling options, and more! She is currently working on evolving the concept into a support system for visiting families and potential movers to be implemented at major events in the Free State.
