Fast evolving peer-to-peer technology provides us with the means to build resilient and competitive alternatives to services that were, until now, monopolized by governments. Bitcoin is the most obvious and successful example. Liberty lovers have rightly come to appreciate and embrace these technological developments. Ubitquity is building one such alternative system to enable record-keeping of real estate title transfers in a peer-to-peer public ledger. Christian will use Ubitquity's solution as an example to discuss market adoption strategies and the social impact that peer-to-peer technology promises to deliver over the coming years.
