With the accomplishment of becoming the greatest global connector humans have seen, today's version of the Internet has overtime become riddled with vulnerabilities for users of all kinds and their data. While decentralized in purpose, corporate incentives have catapulted a handful of groups to hold great power over the security of data, privacy of users, and freedom over communication. By replacing the server-client infrastructure with a randomized peer-to-peer model for storage and communication of data, while properly aligning incentives of users, the SAFE Network can provide an alternate network for users and services who are looking for stronger guarantees for privacy, security, and freedom on the Internet. With many years of research and development as precursor, the SAFE Network is an opportunity for people all around the world to access a common, secured Internet.
