In the earliest days of the FSP, new movers had to hike uphill (both ways!), barefoot in the snow, when they made the move to New Hampshire. There was no Facebook for online networking from afar. There were no dozen-odd local in-state meetup groups (see the Porcupine Powwows panel for more info) to quickly meet the locals. There was just the FSP discussion forum, and a couple of Yahoo groups.

Today, FSP early movers have a number of resources available to them to help ease their transition into the Free State. Attend the New Mover Resources Panel to learn all about the Welcome Wagon, Move-In "Parties" (and tips for how to maximize attendance), the best Facebook groups to join, helpful lists on the FSP website, and much more!

The panel will include Chris Lopez, FSP admin and welcome wagon coordinator, Gloria Leustek, FSP PorcBuddy program coordinator, and Gordon Kemp, who has organized move-in parties.
